I am so depressed and I think my writing sucks and I don't think I will ever participate in a fest ever again.

But, if I get out of this funk, I might give it a try.

I think you should. I'm joining it precisely because I need a creative outlet for my life, because it can get seriously crazy and bad sometimes.

I hope you come out of the darkness to find fresh inspiration. This fest seems like a happy thing. Maybe it can be for you, too.
