Written for mmom's day 10 and elrhiarhodan's prompt "This is SOOOOOO wrong, but I don't care." Although, I didn't deliver on the last bit -- just the wrong part.
Warnings: RPS, age difference
A/N: This is set backstage at Daniel's performance of "Equus" (in which he's very naked for anyone who didn't know that, so go Google it!)






It was so wrong: handing Daniel a bouquet of champagne roses with the same hand he’d jacked himself off with just moments before in the men’s room.

“Brilliant,” Daniel said as he took them, still half naked, his chest gleaming with sweat.

Gary smiled as best he could, trying not to picture the rest of him, that soft, beguiling dick and squeezable set of buns that had driven Gary into the stall to become possibly the biggest ponce the universe has ever seen – beating himself to the vision of his young friend’s bits.

“Did you like it then?” Daniel smelled his roses and then set them down so he could hug Gary.

Gary cleared his throat, let himself be hugged, keeping his pelvis at a safe distance, and said, “You were marvelous.” The truth on the stage. The truth in that bathroom stall.

Seriously, that was it. Gary was nothing more than a dirty old man. He’d crossed the line. Daniel leaned back but didn’t let go of him, his hands lingering on Gary’s arms. “Your opinion means so much to me,” he said.

Gary smiled. He did not think about whipping the boy around and stripping those infernal jeans down his thighs. Gary did not think about bending Daniel in half, parting his asscheeks, and sticking his tongue up there. He did not think about Daniel hanging onto his dressing table, taking Gary’s cock straight up his delectable arse. He didn’t think about kissing the corner of his mouth – didn’t think about trying to get away with that small intimacy in place of the unspeakable others.

But he did let his hand rest on Daniel’s waist, fingers on bare skin. He did let himself look into Daniel’s eyes for the moment and see the unmasked admiration there. Daniel’s hand slid up his arm two inches. His thumb brushed Gary’s bicep, and he blinked.

Gary cleared his throat and stepped back. He lied and said he had to go. He said good-night and left knowing that the smell of champagne roses would follow him through the rest of his days.
