I got a gift at [livejournal.com profile] daily_deviant's Kinky Kristmas and it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Title: If The Snow Falls
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sabethea
Characters/Pairings: Sirius/Regulus
Rating: R
Kinks/Themes Included: Incest, guilt
Other Warnings/Content: Chan
Word Count: ~1300
Summary/Description: Sirius has a promise in his mind. If it snows at Christmas, he will stop. If the day comes when he can look up and see white flakes dancing in the skies, he will know it's time. Time to leave. Time to stop touching his brother in the most unbrotherly way of all.

Why rec'd: OMG, are you kidding me? This was written like...well, like it was a gift just for me! LOL! The writing is gorgeous, the angst is stellar, the sex is forbidden and hot and sweet and in turns hard and soft and always GUILTY, and the relationship is so believable and doomed and beautiful and fucked up. *happy sigh* God, it's just fantastic! I feel so lucky! Go read! <3

This was rec'd on [livejournal.com profile] crack_broom really recently, but now that I've read it, I'd be remiss not to post this, too.

Napoleon in Three Acts
by [livejournal.com profile] snegurochka_lee
Pairings: Sirius/James, Sirius/Regulus
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Incest, dub-con, three canon character deaths, sex between people aging from 16 to 19.
Word Count: ~5,400
Summary: One brother: the one you love above all others. Two brothers: the ones you can never choose between.

Why rec'd: Ever read something that you thought was perfect? This was it for me. I'm stunned at the sheer force and subtlety and wisdom with which Lee writes. Add to that some of the hottest sex, the most poignant angst, boys being such real boys -- the destined feeling of both relationships and their doom. This is gorgeous, and I can't emphasize that enough.

I see people using these really adorable Rectober banners, but I can't find them on Bird's LJ. Help?

Tada:

Remember Me Fondly
Author: [livejournal.com profile] writcraft at [livejournal.com profile] daily_deviant
Characters/Pairings: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger
Rating: NC-17
Kinks/Themes Chosen: Adolescentism (a form of ageplay relating to teenage years), Impotence
Other Warnings/Content: Fisting, Rimming, Injury, Angst, Romance
Word Count: 6,700
Summary/Description: He hates remembering the way Harry - Potter - used to look at him. Most of all he hates the way that more often than not, Harry wouldn’t bother looking at him at all.
Reminiscing about the past was supposed to be fun, but with old animosities and buried insecurities, it was never going to be that straightforward.

Why rec'd: The angst is beautiful, and the characterizations are excellent. Generally, I'd say mind the warnings, but in this case I would say disregard them, because even if adolescentism is not your thing, it's not used as much as a kink here as a plot device, and it's lovely and achy and hurty and beautiful. Yes, there is fisting. I happen to dig that kink. So yes, mind that warning, but even the fisting is beautiful and wonderful and character-driven.

I love Draco's voice in this, and his baggage is sooooo what his baggage would really be in a relationship with Harry Potter. This is just a lovely piece all around.

The Storm Will Pass
Artist: Currently behind the Veil [livejournal.com profile] akatnamedeaster at [livejournal.com profile] sirius_black
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Sirius/Regulus
Rating: G
Medium: Pencil, Photoshop
Prompt #: 39: They were once each others world.
Warnings: None

Why Rec'd: Because it's absolutely beautiful!!!! The sepia tone, their expressions, the ache and the comfort and loneliness and the superb detail in the drawing. This is really fantastic art. <3 Plus, it's not exactly rated G in my own head.
