He's gripping the change of clothes he brought tight to his chest like some scandalized virgin. I love Harry being a little awkward and a little guilty and the description of Sirius through his eyes.

He needs to watch over Sirius until Sirius is strong enough to watch over him. To be the family for which Harry has so desperately longed. Oh my god. This is just so wonderfully Harry that my heart just twinged a little.

This was beautiful and you have a such a knack for layering so many emotions in your writing. The guilt and uncertainty, the acceptance and relief and the bittersweet realization that they’re both doing this because they’re a little broken by what they’ve been through, and the whole thing is just so amazingly subtle, and incredibly hot.
