*gasp* way to make me cry why don't you! This did all sorts of things to the butterflies in my stomach, they're rioting right now!! It was electrifyingly hot, heart-wrenching and just generally amazing! In my mind, I mostly like to maintain what happened in canon... which is what made me bawl my eyes out at the end! Although I can definitely imagine a not-so-canon ending as well, but I love the angst!

I love the little flashbacks of smut in this, and how it’s so achingly sensual even though there’s no emotion described in it whatsoever. It’s just facts, and the rest of the fic fills in the feelings around it and really, how are you this amazing?

"God..." Sirius breathes, so close. He's never been inside Harry. It's his one virtue, he thinks. It's his one regret. He imagines how it might have been: tight and slow. The ache of waiting for Harry to nod, to whisper, "It's okay." For the boy to unleash Sirius from his own weak efforts at restraint.

Seriously. Amazing.

And then on top of all of that, the knowledge of what happens to Sirius in canon lingering over it all like a great big dark cloud. ::flails::
