I'm thinking about getting one too, the art I saw is pretty much up my street (not to mention the fics) and I wouldn't mind posting there. I actually only post to my own journal or hd_fanart, cos I'm always worried most of my things are a bit too explicit! And because I'm a bit shy, I have to admit. But I think I'd feel right at home there! Lol! So yeah, I probably will get one. *grins*

The thing with Daily Deviant -- and I didn't know this at first either -- is that the writers and artists are by invitation only. I used to wonder how the hell to post to DD and then someone told me how it works. I was asked to join back in April and am so honored by that. You're such a fantastic artist, I feel sure they'd love to have you, but it may take a little time. I'll certainly put in a good word for you! Deviant art is always something everyone could use more of! :-D

And sometimes it takes a while for the DD mods to find good contributors. I was in fandom over a year before I got asked, and they ask new people every few months or so. I'd be happy to tell them about you. It's not a favor to you; it's a favor to THEM and the people who watch the comm. :-D

Thanks for the code, i'll get an account presently, (since I only discovered DD today thanks to your fiction rec, i've been over there reading and looking at things and having a laugh all by myself all afternoon. I love it!) as soon as i finish the fic I'm reading! *glomps*

What do you mean you've only been drawing since July? I mean, no offense, but that can't be true. You mean you've only been drawing HP since then? Your craft is AMAZING. I won't believe you if you say you've been drawing for anything less than several years.

Hahaha! I mean I've only been drawing HP since July, after not drawing anything for seven years! Lol! I totally stopped drawing when I had my second baby, for no reason, just didn't have time to do it and then I sort of forgot I used to draw. I've never taken lessons or had any formal training, but since I was very young I've been able to draw in 3D quite realistically. Anyway, in June I started reading Draco/Harry, and by the funniest chance I met dysonrules online and loved everything she did. I got chatting to her a lot, like ten times a day for a while, and she was so nice to me, I felt I had to do something for her. so I picked up the pencils again, and drew "Draco and Harry" as a gift to her, which isn't even on my LJ account, only on AO3. If you saw that one, you'd see how rusty I was! Lol! Anyway, that sort of opened the floodgates, once I started drawing the boys, I couldn't stop! XD
