Why recc'd:

Because SWEET JESUS the woman can write Harry/Teddy!!! This is a prequel to Falling Down, but I don't think it's entirely necessary to read the other first. I don't know -- maybe. You won't get the subtle nuances of where this is going and such. The other is very short and simply excellent, so you have no reason not to read it, right?

This prequel is beautifully done, the world well-drawn, the dialogue seamless, the UST palpable, and the kiss. OH THAT KISS. PG-13? I don't think so. You may need to run to your bunk.

I love the writing, the pairing, the world (even though it hurts), and this beautiful dynamic between them. It's breath-taking. <3
