I may or may not keep at this thing. O_o
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Not Waving but Drowning, Sirius/Harry, NC-17, 1,050 words. I think this story sums up my feelings for this pairing, their feelings for each other, and is a good example of how I do PWP and just writing in general. Plus just wordless, fast, hard fucking on the kitchen table in the middle of the night. ;-)
Sectumsempra, Harry/Draco, PG-13, 960 words. I thought about using one of the more explicit stories I've written for this pairing, but I'm really proud of this one, because I think it could be almost canon. I see this as a huge turning point for the characters and how the slash could start very realistically.
Announcing Your Place in the Family of Things, Teddy/James/Scorpius, James/Scorpius, Teddy/James, (background Harry/Draco), NC-17, 15,765 words. I chose this one because it was a turning point for me in fandom. I made a lot of great friends through writing this piece in particular, plus I think it's a good example of my longer works and how I write them, which is not quite as atmospheric as shorter pieces, more focus on story-telling. Also, I wanted to include a story based around Next Gen characters, as they've become important to my writing.
They Searched for Blue, Hermione/Pansy (mentions of past Hermione/Ron, Pansy/Daphne), NC-17, 2,365 words. I think this is my best femslash. It's angsty but hot. I love writing women as full sexual beings, and I tend to get frustrated when sex between women is too often depicted as soft and sweet, lots of gentle kisses and such. Women can fuck. Women can feel animalistic. For me, this little story communicates so much about how I write women.
Edit: OMG, THREE of these use poetry for titles! *facepalm*
